We're not in Thailand yet. We have 48 hours before we head to the airport, and we have a lot of work to do before that.
But first: Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thank you to all of you who have made this hectic week so special. Sunday night, we had a lot of friends over to the Hales to grill and hangout. Angela was so excited that she bought about 10 pounds of snackmix. Monday night we sent Angela's sister, Kristina, back to Australia (where hopefully we'll be able to visit her in 2012). Tuesday night, we had sushi with our friends Heath and Mary. After that, Heath was kind enough to play videogames with me for about 9 hours. At least that's what Angela said it felt like. Last night, I met with Lee Diaz's men's group to talk about the work I'll be doing in Thailand. Then we met up at at Pokey-O's (they got nothin' on Diddy Riese) for the opportunity to say good-bye to some of the people who have made the biggest impact on our lives while here in Dallas.
This does not even touch on the complete day schedules we have.
We have loved seeing everyone this last week. It reminds us why we love our friends here in Dallas and how much we are going to miss all of you.
But we're not in Thailand yet. In fact, I've put some photos below to show you that we might have a few more things to do before our 48 hours is up. Yes, a visit to In-N-Out is on the list.

I just realized that some of these photos may look a lot like what people remember of our apartment. That was different . . .
