"Let's Get'em to Thailand" Fundraiser Was a Success!

Thank you to all who joined us at CitySquare for the "Let's Get'em to Thailand" event.  What a blessing to have friends who want to see us leave so badly, they will pay for it.

It was a crazy weekend with tons of things going on.  Thankfully the Mavs games were Friday and Sunday, so that was one thing we didn't have to worry about.  We had about 45 people join us for the evening.  Justin Dyer and Matthew Bridgman crooned the night away as the sun set over the the patio at 511 North Akard.

It really was the perfect night.

The weather was amazing.  We had old friends and new friends.  Church friends and work friends.  Caffeine friends and alcohol friends.  The food was abundant.  Almost all of it was donated by places like the Ritz Carlton, Panda Express, Taco Bueno, Corner Bakery, and more.  We also had an amazing silent auction that featured a free room at the Ritz, indoor rock climbing, MAC makeup, gift certificates to great restaurants, and a printer that may or may not have been used a few times before.

At the end of the evening, when all was totaled up, we raised over $4000 to get us to Thailand.  Such a great gift from friends.

I appreciate all of you who were able to come.  And for those who were not able to make it, thank you for the kind words you sent us.

As always, if you'd like to donate, please go to http:bit.ly/CitySqDonate and choose the LAW Fellowship from the dropdown.

Thank you so much.  And a very special thank you to Imtiaz Haiyoom, Janet Morrison, Jennifer Rajkumar, Jasmine Africawala, Fonz and Anett Araiza, Holly Thigpen, Theresa Cissell, and Brian Grobeleski.
